About

Emmaus Road Baptist Church is a Reformed Southern Baptist Church. We constituted as a church in October of 2008. We are a body of believers that is striving to be biblical in all areas of church life.

Some of our values/distinctives are the following:

- we are elder-led

- we believe in the practice of biblical church discipline

- we are committed to the expository preaching  of God’s Word, book by book and verse by verse

- we are missions-minded

- we seek to be Christ-centered and focused on the glory of God in all things

Our confessional statement is the Abstract of Principles.

For more information on the kind of church we are striving to be, we recommend the following two-part sermon, Ask for the Old Paths, Part One and Ask for the Old Paths, Part Two.

We worship on Sundays at Williams Chapel, north of Ewing, IL. Bible study is at 9am, congregational worship is at 10am, and evening service is at 5:30pm. Click here for directions.
